Prefab Guard Booths & Guardhouses in Pittsburgh, PA

Your gate officer spends a full shift in that booth, through snow in January and sticky heat in July. A prefab guardhouse arrives finished, wired and climate-controlled, then gets set in a single visit.

We supply and set booths for distribution yards, rail-served plants and research parks throughout Greater Pittsburgh.

From the Factory to Your Gate

Guard booths are built whole at the manufacturer. Walls, roof, glazing, counters, lighting and outlets are installed before the booth ever ships.

On site, the booth is lifted into place with a forklift or crane and anchored. Your electrician connects power and any data line, and the booth is ready for staff.

Sizes run from a single-officer 4x6 booth to multi-person guardhouses with a restroom and storage closet. Sliding service windows and glass on all four sides keep sight lines open in every direction.

Bullet-resistant wall and glazing packages are available when the post calls for them.

    Gates That Work Hard Here

Truck traffic drives most booth projects. Distribution buildings around Pittsburgh International Airport, from Coraopolis to Findlay Township, check trailers in and out across multiple shifts. A booth at that gate needs a counter for paperwork and a window that opens at cab height.

Rail-served sites in McKees Rocks and river terminals on Neville Island control truck and visitor access at one entrance, so we often lay out two service windows on opposite walls.

Weather is the other factor. With the door swinging open every few minutes in winter, a booth needs supplemental heat as well as insulation, and the same unit has to handle humid summer afternoons.
